Thumbs up step by step walk through videos for maintenance and repairs

hi all this thread is for the upload of videos for maintenance and repairs of your watercraft for example if you feel you want to video a step by step removal of the intake grate- sealing it up and replacing it then post the video here.
the point of the thread is
1 to give the inexperienced a chance to turn a spanner with real time help from a video
2 to show others what you are doing
and 3 how you are doing it and with what tools.

this will hopefully give good reference for all and also stop all the pointless reposts of people asking how to...

    THE RULES.
please keep on topic!!!! this thread will be a good thread if you all keep on topic.
please only post up factual videos

WHEN SUBMITTING A THREAD PLEASE POST UP WHAT THE VIDEO IS ABOUT IN THE TITTLE BAR this will give people the tittle of your video without going into the post.

    lets see how it goes.

Do we really have to do all of that. All I do is flush them out after use. I also bring them to the yamaha dealer for the regular check-up

After I ride in salt this is what I do...

    1. Run on hose for 5 min with short throttle blips up to 3k
    2. Run salt-away through engine for 1 min
    3. Spray engine compartment down with salt-away
    4. Spray down bilge with salt-away
    5. Wash ski
    6. Take out any water from the hull and let it dry with seat off for a few hours
    7. Spray fluid-film everywhere

For freshwater I just run the ski on the hose for a few mins

Mike it's probably a good idea to let the engine bay to cool off first before you spray it down with water. The rapid cooling could cause the head to start cracking.

Thats a lot of things to do... On my fx I just run on the hose 3-5 mins, with a few revs up to redline.... Disconnect it from hose and wash it down from top to bottom including the trailer, then tilt it back and leave the seats removed so it dries up... Then a few days later spray with crc silicone before the next ride on the beach
