    no spark

1999 1050 polaris lost spark i believe it was after a buddy jumped the battery with a charger on engine start (high amps)
i replaced the cdi and still have no spark.
do the hall sensors usually go out when jumped off because they are only 8volt ?
    thanks

You need to do some diagnostics

First question - is this an original CDI or an updated ignition system?
What part number did the CDI you took out have on it?
Any hand written numbers on it?

Where does the Red/Purple wire from the CDI connect to?

Test the coil too. I used a jumper pack once and the ground came off as soon as it started. no more spark after that. I would have thought i fried the cdi but the coil was no good

From CDI to stator splits to 15amp relay then to front box in bike

You replaced the CDI, but not the stator - correct?

Work through the normal no-spark tests.

In particular make sure the battery voltage is well above 10.6 volts while cranking. Confirm Red/Purple wire into CDI is also above 10.6 volts while cranking.

Next measure the voltage on the Brown CDI wire (which feeds to the stator) while cranking. Should jump up to 8 volts while engine is cranking.

Next test the stator coil ohms and Hall Effect sensors. Diagnostic details can be found via my signature links, under Red Domestic engine.
