VX plate with Jim's mod
I finally tried my plate yesterday. Had the chance to tried it both on glass water and chop.
Well, I like it A LOT!!!!! Waouh!
Definitely night & day compared with the stock plate.
The ski is much much faster now!!
Besides slight porposing (will try using the shims included), handling is really good (though the ski feels a bit loose).
Haven't GPS'd my top speed yet, but with stock plate I was running a consistent 76.4 (77.1 once) so I guess I'm pretty close to 79/80 mph.
Thanks Jim!! I REALLY like this plate!!
