    High Performance Cams

Does anyone know where we can get high performance cams ? Any links ?

Since there are cams for SD and Yamaha's.. I cant seem to find them for Kawi's.

    Macc Racing

Had a look at it.. will have to check with Macc if it is for full race boats with higher compression setups.

I am looking for a cam that I can use for a stock boat.. just for that little bit more fun!

    Thanks anyway!

    09 Cams

oh yeah.. I forgot about those...

if I run the 09 setup .. do I need to do any advance on the timing? As is .. I already run a 5degree advance.

someone else may chime in here but i beleive the 09's were already advanced 4 degrees so you should be fine... i'd check though.....

Putting on flame proof suit...... If you are rec riding it would be better to leave alone considering cost to replace cams and the possible consequences compared to gains. Sounds stupid but if you want to go faster wait and spend cam and motor upgrade money on 300x.

As nikjak said, go the pistons and run the existing cams. The 260 cams do make more power but hp per $$ is a decision I cant make for you.

We did alot of cam testing with agura SC and found fookall gain on the water.

If you are changing the forced induction method, different story.

09 cams, pistons and 6 deg timing, make sure you run 98+ and exhaust the hell out of it. Will beat the 300x hands down, since you need to first purchase a Motec to unleash the 2011's power and speed, thats another 4G's.
