Yamaha Cruiser seat retaining water
I've got a 2008 Yamaha FX SHO Cruiser and recently a 2010 FX HO Cruiser. I immediately noticed how the 2010 models seat was much lighter that the 2008 model. However, after the 2010 model seat got wet it's retaining the water and is very heavy. Much heavier than the 2008 model. I've tried leaving it standing up on its front two points for a couple of weeks, but the water mustn't be draining properly because the seat is still very heavy. Anyone else had similar problems? Any suggestions?

Is there a aftermarket seat cover fitted,if so did you remove the stock cover before install, the big names i know of have stiching and this lets a lot of water in over time,
one of my gpr seats put weight on faster than a fat kid in a cake shop with stocker cover removed..
that foam sure hold water well
