    Broken leg

I broke my fibula running up my hill at eel acres. Been in a cast for nearly two weeks and have discovered something.

The Kawi engine oil dipstick is the fooken ultimate intercast itchy spot reaching device on the planet!!!

Long, flexible and dosen't hang up on the inner padding.

If you are planning on breaking your leg, buy/steal a Kawi dipstick.

be carefull doing this, i used to do the same while ive had a cast on a leg or arm, your skin will get very sensitive under the cast and by scratching to ruff you can scrape your skin and get an infection. it happenend to me, and i know scratching could get addictive when you have a cast on

Bummer on the leg but very funny story! I guess it doesnt matter if youre perfectly level when you insert dipstick in cast?

+1 305, Hey bud I know it drives you nuts with the itching but you really need to put the dip stick down. I am a paramedic and the best thing to do is baby powder. I have seen some very serious infections as a result if using a object to scratch with. The swelling will go down in a couple days and thats what is causing it to itch on top of what they use to make the cast with. Do yourself a huge favor and stop. Wishing for a speedy recovery!!

I might be a little late for you,
but feel I have the ultimate item
    for the itchy cast.

    Google Castscratcher and you'll
find it right away. Very safe and
    effective because it's designed
    for that purpose.

The only thing it won't do is let
you know if you're a quart low. lol

    Take care and hope you're
    recovering well. Aloha
