Whats the advantage of white waterbox on 787 XP/SPX with SPEC2 pipe?
So, whats the advantage of newer white waterbox on 787 XP/SPX with SPEC2 pipe?
I always thought that it was some minor performance increase but just found some old post where someone advised another forum user with 96xp and spec2 pipe to switch to the new white waterbox before the engine will seize a piston.... hmmm...
Does it really make running spec2 any safer?

just got one today! white one from 97spx cheap... $20
Also, I just got a new ski too! very clean 96xp all modded with:
R&D venturi/steering nozzles
R&D intake grate
R&D flame arrestor
drop nozzle system R&D maybe not sure
Skat-trak prop (I think), looks like a swirl, looks good as new
carbs are stock unless they are bored
waterbox is still the original one
