We have warmer waters, and have to wait along time to get a west wind
condition at north Bunces Pass. The gradual incline in sea floor there makes
our DAY! Great AVIs, Thanks!

No water temp here is about 73F its just an over cast morning but swell size made up for it.
Our best guess of size was about 25ft /7.5m on the outer reefs.
I actually ate it on one of the vids but you cant see me Im in the water being hammered, was under water for a long time but I knew i would pop up with my vest on ,the ski ended up 300 yards away still upright and afloat with no water intrusion.
This is a break about 4 mile off shore with a rocky ledge that when these swells hit it it just rears up and sucks all the water off the reef and huge suck rocks appear .You have to have your twin canisters between your legs well and truly tucked up and ready.
Had a good day ended up on the beach cooking chicken wings on an open fire rotisserie and a few beers after. Priceless . When you try to explain to people what you did and what where the conditions they just dont get it but the guys that KNOW DO !
I have some more but they exceed 5 MB limit for this website.

No one told him your sposed to go the other way up the wave before it breaks?? Beautiful water. I was looking at the surf at Sebastain Inlet Today perfect not to big and 73 degree water almost enough to get me back out there. Perfect for my return after a long rest.

This is in Australia on south coast and I yes i think I know a bit about jumping .
I defy anybody at this break to even get into the jump zone going forward as you have to dodge huge suck rocks that appear when the wave drains off the reef. I have been jumping waves over 20 years and this one is the first that scares me.gets the heart pumpin though !
