Compressing valves to put in new retainers.

What sort of tool is ideal?

Is it fairly easy to do with the right tool?
Do you need to remove the rockers on the 4tecs?
Do you need to keep the cylinder pressurized?

    Is this any good?

    or something like this?

They Recommend it but I reused mine. Next Time I take my head off I will be replacing them though. Make sure u clog the oil return holes with something to prevent keepers etc from falling in.

it's doable with the first tool set you have pictured but the riva tool is much easier.
