    After market fuel level gauge...

My cluster messed up and I do alot of longer distance riding. I was wonder if there was a way to tap into the stock sending unit for an after market autometer gauge like this....

    http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATM-3314/

I'm already going to install the same gauge but in fuel pressure. I was wanting to install the factory cluster under the hood and mount the 2 2 1/16th gauge up there. Just wondering if anyone has done this or if someone could help me out.

Nope you won't be able to do that. The gauges in the jetskis use several "floats" for determining the level. The gauge just reads the difference in the resistance and displays the proper "blocks" on the gauge. There is way too much bouncing for a traditional fuel level sender, like the ones used in cars to work with jetskis.

Nope, find a used gauge cluster for your ski.

You could make an Autometer one work, but there is only one model that has an adjustable resistance (which is what you'd need)...and the gauge will be fluctuating constantly, while the fuel is sloshing. You would need to wire up a circuit to average the readings over time to keep the gauge steady.
