    Riva rear air intake question

is this intake okay for aggressive riding like 360s and goofing off? I do go into the ocean sometimes, but I use my XP for jumping waves. I wanna use this intake because of the sounds and performance, but I don't want to be sucking water at the same time. anybody else run this intake and have any problems with this?

Doesn't it say on the sale page something like:

N.B. Not recommended for ocean riders.

this is solely only for flat water only, a little of water inside that intake and it will ruin your day, I experienced it first hand, your plugs will foul and if its too bad you will hydrolock the engine.

EXACTLY-FLAT water running in a straight line only. If anyone doesn't believe it. Take a floodlight or high intensity light and lay in back of ski compartment.Put the seat on and turn out the lights, I couldn't believe the possible entry points for water injestion looked like Poltergeist..part 2.

    X2^^^
if I know my friends will be out on the water and want to "play" or if there is a chance i might start "drinking" i put the 4 in upfront kana flex on...Haha... i tend to do doughnuts after a couple of drinks...
And barely trust buddies riding my blk/green rxp at all...so if i think there is a chance that someone will ride it i just throw the kana on prior to going out....

I don't think i wanna deal with that, probably gonna just get a normal 4 inch intake. I like doing spins and goofing off.

Check the pictures in my albums. I ride like this with no problems at all. BUT. I am extremely careful. If it's rough and I am going to screw around I run my front intake.
