    pulling motor

    how do i seperate the pump shaft from the motor so i can get the motor on the bench..any ideas would be wonder full. motor pretty much apart in hull

    take the pump put of the ski the drive shaft will come out

    so that is the four nuts outside and the four nuts inside plus all aplicable hoses and connections

    No pull the four long bolts and separate the pump.

    dont they just hold the spout on. theyre like 9 inches long

    They hold the entire pump together.

    The shaft can stick in there. If you work it, it will come.

    The shaft got stuck in an SLX I was working on and I had to unscrew the coupler first, pull the engine and slide it out through the front. The person that had it before me never greased the coupler and it was frozen.

    thanx guys,
    got motor out. noticed pump impellor n ot in good shape. heyfrisco i think u gotoneofthose. so i needa crank.. does a 650,750 fit the 780. need pistonds all three. 1 head. 2 sleeves.. wil post photos

    Why bother resleeving the cylinders??? Unless you like the work and have a machine shop. Check the classifieds, I know xlint89 has various sets of cylinders for sale that will bolt right on.
