    Need 951 bottom engine case

I got this xp limited for free a couple weeks ago. The typical front cylinder is trashed and the lower connecting rod bearings are gone. The rod wore into the crank case and put some small hairline cracks on the outside of the case so im going to need to find a case for it. Just wondering if anybody has one?

    Thanks

When you post a reply go advanced look for the paper clip. That is for attachments. At the top of the window that pops open on the RH side there is a button that says add files. The rest is pretty simple to figure out. Hope that helps.

It is tough see the cracks, but based on the damage in pic 1 they should be a easy repair. Follow the suggestions in that post, clean, clean, clean and bolt the case haves together with torque pattern in manual. Grind beyond the end of the crack.

Even if you come across a clean set of cases, those look worth repairing, especially to somebody with a saltwater engine.

alright guys i got the cases welded. i asked him to put a bead in the crankcase where the con rod was rubbing on the case. He did that then ground it down a little. There are some low spots and im wondering if its going to cause any problems with the fuel/air flow. Here are a few more not so great pictures.

    Thanks
