2006 RXP RPM Limiter..... Running correct RPM to not be on the limiter.
Sorry guys, I know this question would have been asked a million times. I have been searching for hours and can not find a difinitive answer.
What RPM should I be aiming for, 2006 RXP stock ECU..... How far under the limiter?
What is the stock limiter set at?

8100 is the RPM you want to run on your 06. 8200 the soft limiter kicks in and 8300 the hard limiter hits....

Had no idea about the hard/ soft limiter. Anyone care to explain how they work and exactly how they are controllerd, fuel, spark etc.
Mine is doing 8200 so I need to tune it down. Lucky I have a reduction nozzle on its way.Would a 15/22 put it to low? I have one on its way but was really purchased for when I put my C-kit on.

At 8200 the ECU starts to pull timing and at 8300 it pulls it completeley..you should feel the ski start to get sluggish right before or right after 8200 all the way up to 8300 were the ski will run like crap....What other mods do you have done to your ski???IFrom what i can see in your sig. it doesnt look like much..I wouldnt go with a 15/22 yet,not till your running a few more m ods..A 15/20 with some work to it might get ya were you want to be BUT still need a few more mods to spin them props efficiantly..

For best acceleration I like to run my 06+ ski's @8160-8180 rpms.
