    Will a bore job and 1100 top end kit alone convert a 900 to a 1100cc ?

What do I need to do to convert a Kawasaki 900 to a 1100 ?

Specs show the same stroke of 71mm.

    Here is the longer version.

It is a huge PITA to make this work.

The stroke is the same but the rods in the 1100 are much longer makeing the distance different.
The 1100 crank is MUCH stronger so you will most likely kills your 900 one.
The upper 900 cases need to be bored to match.
The 1100 heads will need to be shaved down to lower your compression.
The 900 wall on the exhaust side are very thin so you can do a large bore but don't expect it to last like a stock 1100 would.
You would be much better off buying an 1100 motor due to the work that goes into this.
