    Garmin how accurate is it?

I went out sat morning for a few cold runs. I made a 4 inch cold air intake and wanted to see what gains it would make. Made my first run and the garmin told me 81.5.

Rode for a few more hours got several 73, 74mph readings. I cant see this ski loosing that much mph after gettting heat in the motor. It has run 75 a few times but ran a consistant 72 before the 4inch air intake.

The air temp was 51 and water temps were 61.

If you can, mount a camera near it so it's in plain view all times. The 81 is more than likely off. I've been running high 70's and went under a bridge and must have lost signal then picked back up. I ran over 100mph that day according to my gps. LOL A 4" intake isn't going to give you 6mph.

GPS is definitely off on your first run... your not running 81+ with the mods listed in your sig.

You've got the fueling components to support a big charger.... that WILL get you to 80

GPS Spike. Happends all the time. Sometime even closer to your real speed. Like if u ran 75 it might have have a false spike of 77 and youll think you did 77.

LOL, I knew the 81 was way off. I am seeing 12psi of boost. I do have an aftermarket intercooler, a bit bigger then the riva setup. Im was hoping to run a consistant 75 in this weather.
