Success with a rebuilt Yamaha GP1200r engine ???
Has anyone had success with sending their core engine in to a rebuild shop like those on eBAY ? PWCengine.com and ETC ?
Please advise - I am looking to get my 2000 GP1200 R running for this Spring
The parts I need are listed below
1 cylinder core + all 3 cylinders need to be replated
Rebuild my crankshaft or new one with new bearings
3 pistons, rings , bearing, pins ETC
Complete Gasket set
ALL THIS STUFF adds up to way more than a $1299 ( 2 yr warranty ) or $999 ( one yr warranty ) motor from the rebuilders???
I am looking for a running dependable ski -- not to race
I am seeking feeedback - as I wish to get this done soon

I've used Mike at PWCengines twice for rebuild engines and everthing turned out Great.
He did Great work and the engines looked like new when I got them back.
