    pro 785 motor in msx 150

    any body know if this would be a good idea to put everything from a pro 785 into an msx 150 hull

    Prob not.

    Not sure if the 785 engine would like the added weight of the MSX hull. It's a high revving, high HP engine. The MSX hull would need alot of bottom end TQ (1200cc) to get that weight moving quickly.

    Not sure if the pipes would fit inside, engine mounts would definately need addressed, and you'd need to modify the engine coupler to accept a MSX style drive shaft.

    Probably not

    My experience with 7-8000 RPM motors on heavier hulls has been very bad.
