    I love my rxp but its doin my head in......

    Hi Guys.
    I have been on here and read just about everything about RXP"s there is and is still cannot sort my ski out!!.
    I have an 04 rxp
    It had the following mods when i bought it.
    Solas 14/19 prop
    Riva exhaust system
    Riva intake grate.
    4"intake
    Would pull about 68-70 mph but never took notice of the revs.
    A couple of months ago i hydrauliced No 1 cylinder.
    So we spent the money new conrod & piston, new rings for all pistons etc it was already bored 1st oversize.
    Was a bit slower after the rebuild but thought it was tight because of the recon.
    Now have installed after 5 hours running a Riva external intercooler and Riva supercharger wheel as well as fully reconditioned the supercharger and installed the riva stage one 3"air intake.
    It made not one iota of difference!!!!!??????!!!!!!.
    Ski pulls 7100 rpm with 5 psi boost on the gauge 67 mph on the speedo in the water at about 150 foot above sea level ????
    On the trailer it will rev to the revlimiter at about 8100 rpm and boost 10 psi.
    Have had it on the Seadoo computer everything lines up and is running fine.
    Running 96 octane pump gas.
    I know the ski should be heaps stronger than this.
    Has anyone any suggestions......

    What was the s/c slip set at? I'm assuming the plugs are near new?

    Also this isn't related to that great of a drop in rpm, but why go from the 4" intake back to the 3?

    Did you upgrade the injectors to suit the s/c and external I/c?

    do yourself a favor and dont smash the limiter on the trailer..... it will get ya no where

    S/C set at the upper limit for slip.

    So the dumb prick riding it (me) couldnt hydraulic it again.......

    Did you upgrade injectors and a RRPFR to compensate for the IC and Riva wheel? If not, comp retards the engine a bit from what I've read. With your setup, you should be mid 70's+. Upgrading to a 15/20 wouldn't be a bad idea IMO.
