    1996 GTX has a lot of oil in the hull. 787

    I think I found the location of the problem in the connections between the hose and the oil pump. The spring loaded pump lever looks like a throttle and it does not have any recoil to stop of the flow of oil. I cant see what I am doing and I want to go ride, please help.
    I need detailed images of the pump so I know how to put the darn spring back in the correct spot and fix the problem. The engine is a 787.

    Please help.

    there are two bolts holding it onto the mag cover...take them off and move the pump so that you can see it to reset the spring. i use my GF's makeup mirror when I need to look at parts in odd locations.

    That works, but then the GF gets mad when you get oil in the makeup. Then you gotta buy the GF a new compact, then the wife wants to know why you're buying makeup, then things get ugly...

    I bought an inspection mirror from harbor freight for less than $2.00. Its a 2 inch round mirror attached to a 20 inch flexible shaft. Works great!
