Removing oil cap and tank?
When you guys go to premix, do you remove the oil tank and the cap on the left side of the ski? (opposite to the fuel selector valve) Mine is premix but the oil tank is still there
I still have the stock fuel selector valve in place, so I would like to put my primer in the area where the oil cap currently is... I tried to find a how-to but couldn't
Any help is appreciated! Thanks

I never bothered taking out the oil tank. You can if you want too.......Just remember to cross the straps so its tighter on the gas tank.

What would you put in the space where the oil cap goes in order to be a foundation for the primer knob?

There's a black cap where it goes.......I have one somewhere if you want it. $5

we use carbon fiber plates to cover the hole. cut to size, put a bead of silicone around old hole and put in a couple screws to hold in place. drill plate to primer size and install. you could also use some type of plastic or aluminum plate.
