    Thinking about buying a Vipec

I live in a small isle called Trinidad and my resources are very limited. I was wondering if I bought a ViPec would I myself be able to tune maps and do this safely so I can run good in my temps or can I send maps to someone to analyze and i'll just test them

riva should be able to do that for you
we have a great dealer for the motec here (gary watson)
and that is one of the great things about the motec for me
i just send him a log file and he will look at it and make changes to my base map if needed

The Vipec is set up to make corrections based off intake air temps. If you have really high air temps and high humidity you may need to make adjustments. The Riva guys do a good job with support and should not be an issue getting you dialed in. If you have questions about your tune you can always post log and cal. files to get help sorting it out.

Is there any way possible I could get an R3 map for my ecu or would I have to send my vipec to get it reflashed (which makes no senses) ??

And also how would I adjust my afr with the vipec ??

i'm sure there will maps as good as or beter than the R3 reflash
you should be able to choose a base map based on your mods

The ECU comes standard with the stage3 map. Additional maps can be downloaded here: http://www.rivaracing.com/ecu/v2maps.shtml
ECU configurations are installed by the user and are fully adjustable - one of the benefits of having an aftermarket ECU.
