It's TRUE! You always have to ruin a good thing....
It's true what they say about R&D and experimenting and trying something new.... you always have to ruin a good piece before it finally occurs to you that there's a way you could have done it so much differently
I remember when I was gonna do head work this past winter and I found a local guy that was gonna port my head for a 1/4 of the price of what others do it for, and the guy was experienced, but not with 4-tecs... Jerry tells me ya usually gotta screw one up before you know how to do it right, stick with someone whose been around these 4-tec heads before, not someone that's gonna learn on your head...
Now i see what he means!!! i'm the guy doing the work and botchin up my own parts, LOL
At least I found out pretty early in the game before I really fcuked it up
back to playing with my dremel, hammer, chisel, and ice packs for evertime i miss the chisel and smack my thumb ... who woulda thought that hammer and chisel woulda been the trick and the advanced technology of a dremel absolutely sucks!

5 minutes rummaging thru my garage, and it becomes apparent by all the mishapen, half-baked, poorly thought out, one-time-use ideas.
