How do you remove the fairings on GPR?

I looked and looked but saw nothing about this. I also looked for cowlings and side pannels. I saw where people said they cut out the section of the fairings to allow more air flow, but nothing more about this.

Any info on how to remove the colored side fairings on a GPR? Also how or what to cut on the plastics to get more air flow? I want to do it in such a way that it doesnt allow water in when riding in the surf or wave jumping.

If you look at the left side the black under fairing is cut from the factory now just cut the right side to match.. This can d be done with a pin router without removing the outer fairing. Another place to bring more air is to drill 2" hole like a 6 pack in under the wind screen and then a row of 2" holes around the top of the bucket.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I am good with the front lid and seat mods. I saw this http://rivaforums.com/eve/forums/a/t...4/m/2481074825 where someone said they cut it with an exacto, but I saw SHOdude's GPR and noticed Leo had removed almost all the black plastics behind the fairings. Looked like it provided a lot of airflow. After removing the screws I was able to look up under there and seems to have 3 or 4 snaps, but looks like you may have to take the entire thing apart to take them off properly. I was just hoping for a trick to make it easier. I will also look for PR thread.

The trick to the clips is a good hard abrupt pull.

Ok, thanks. I guess I will just cut the section out while on the ski for now. My luck I would break the plastics.
