MoTeC for VXR
Just an update on the new VXR
We are working on a kit and on initial testing we have the engine running and gauges working.
Understand that most people wont be doing this for the stock set up but for anyone doing the Turbo/Supercharger thing we will have something plug in for them real soon.

I want to see how much timing can be pushed at this (N/A) until you cross the line and need race gas.

I havent been involved with any further development on the VX
Basically our standard Yamaha kit plugs straight in with a MAP calibration change and thats it
I know Gary Watson has been working with them but mainly turbo stuff.
Gains on the NA version would be small I would assume and there wont be much power acheived by running ignition timing more than 28 degrees at WOT
The safest way to test is to throw some race gas in there and throw 30 degrees at it for a test
Assuming you have the lambda between 0.85 and 0.92 then that will be MAX power of the engine, nothing you can do to make anymore than that.
