Strainer cover for pump - holeshot kit ASAP!

I am looking for the cover used for the pump strainer so I can install the dryout/holeshot kit. Please send me a PM of what you have. I need it shipped ASAP.

Make one is not a complicated part.

True. I thought about it especially since I have a place by me that has scrap bins of pieces like this. What thickness is needed, 1/4 or 3/8?

1/4" will be fine. Not sure if the stock cover is thick enough to tap ill look tonight.

Ok, I'll go get a piece today. The stock cover has an odd reinforcement design on top of it not really allowing you to tap it. It also sticks out quite a bit and I think it will be in the way of Jim's FF plate. I'll just make one. Thanks for the help. I am still in learning mode. Been searching and searching digging up some old threads.

Make sure you mill out a section for the seal and strainer. If all else fails let me know I have a few.....

Didn't realize it wasn't just a piece of flat stock. I sent you a PM.
