    Engine build

Im rebuilding my rxp engine soon because "santa" is supposed to be bringing me some riva pistons and a valve train upgrade and what not. lol. Im kinda new to the 4 tec engines but here is what I have ordered...
    Riva .20 over piston kit
    Valve train upgrade
    Lighter valves???
Plus all of the free hp tricks. On top of riva stage 1.
I dont want to settle for anything under 80 mph. any opinions on what to do next???

Why not just go with .010 over? At.020 thats the biggest you can bore it to and the last time it can be overhauled. With .010 you can rebuild again down the road. Unless you bores are torn up so bad that you need .020?

I meant .10 my bad. Its an 04 with almost 200 hours. I want to be considerate with my boost and rpm's because i like to just cruise with my friends and dont really want to have to worry about engine problems out on the water.(if you know what i mean). I foun tis wile browsing yesterday, what u think about it.... http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...83&pagenumber=
Ive also heard that the valves are weaker on the older rxp's... should i also upgrade these while i have the engine apart?? thanks

    Very Good buy.
You want to change Your valves. 06 1/2 or newer valves. Lighten them with the valvetrain upgrade.
Upgrade the oil jet in top block.
With 200 hours I would replace bearings.
Check oil pumps and replace if need.
