    AFR reading for 2 stroke engine???

    im not expert in 2 stroke engine,,, now im try to put afr meter tu my 800xp,,, now i want know what is safe reading in my ski,,, im running 190psi comp with 100 octane gas,,, i know in 4st s/c engine must run 11.5 to 12.00 afr,, but in 2stroke engine i dont know,,,

    a/fr measurements on 2 strokes does not work very well. The oil in the exhaust gas and the need to stay on the rich side of stoi tends to cloud the data. Your best bet is to measure Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT). This is the most meaningful measurement when tuning a 2 stroke.
