Removal of supercharger duct -help needed

I want to remove the bit pictured below (so as I can drill tap fogging point) and have come stuck as I can't get to the picture bolt?? Do I have to takethe muffler (or exhaust in UK) manifold off because at the moment it appears to be the only way. I have already removed the end bitof the exhaust that goes to the first muffler box but don't really want to remove any more as I will end up spending on gaskets.

    Is there an easier way???

I would just remove the SC
that way you wont need to buy any gaskets etc

just remove Intercooler, and then its only 4 x 14 mm bolts on the charger
1 x hose clamp on the inlet tube
    remove idler bkt
and then while your intercooler is out u can flush it at the same time.

should only take approx 2.5 in & out if you dont stuff around too much
( thats about my average time taken to do same mod )

    No warrys rlovebk.

Sounds a better plan sirbreaksalot (thanks), I will do it thatway. So annoying as I have 7 of the 8 bolts out already but seem worth it in the long run.

Do you need new o-ring when doing the intercooler clean??

Jeeez that was a mission, trying to get to the front 2 bolts on the SC, had to take the water box out as well as I couldn't get the SC to slide out without hitting it. Going to get the idler pully and Sc pully changed under warranty as they both rusty. My SC internals look very good, so after this mod they should remain this way.

Not looking forward to putting it all back in a few weeks time, I undone so many hoses!

Will flush out my intercooler with fuel before it all goes back, thinking about changing the SC belt as well becauses theres been signs of slipping (lots of black muck) and guess now I'm this far how hard to undo the engine mounts and slip forward the engine 3-4".

I'm not going to put the belt cover back on as this just seems to hide the bit's you wanna see after each use.

Worth fiitting an after market idler pulley or just get it replaced under warranty??

yes it is worth fitting an aftermarket idler pulley, but many gurus will disagree. This will help stop the belt slip. Stock profile Rogue pulley, try it and you will not be disapointed.

What difference do you notice? I guess performance is the same as like for like replacement size can't do much. I want something more durible, less likley to rust etc...
