    Rxpx winterising

    Hi all Im in the uk and I would like to know if I have to winterise my ski i keep it in a garage but it's not heated I won't be taking it a out for a couple of months now can I just start it once a week ? And would I have to run it up on the hose with water ???. Many thanks

    Should be okay if your keeping it in the garage. I would start it but not run it on the hose, incase you get severe frost. 30 secs would be long enough, then switch it off. I`ve done this with my own two ski`s without any issues.

    If it does get frosty you could hang a low energy bulb inside the engine compartment and put the seats back on. Swich on the bulb and leave it on. It`s got enough heat to keep the engine compartment above freezing.
