    RXPX cheap mods

I have an 08 RXPX stock with only an R&D grate and want to spend no more that $1,000 to do some mods. Was wondering if I could install 48lb injectors without doing any other mods. Any suggestions for other cheap mods to get some speed/power?

Adding 48 pounders alone will net no gains, your AFR will be pig rich as well. Work on your air intake, exaust, and prop. Thats a good start for the money your wanting to spend right now.

+1, adding fuel without supporting mods is only going to negatively affect your performance. DIY 4 inch intakes and free flow exhausts are very cheap to do and a good starting place. With only a grand to play with I would steer clear of supercharger upgrades, as you will need to spend extra money on providing enough fuel and a means to monitor AFR's. It adds up quickly..

I would start with a prop, good flowing air intake, 83mm nozzle, and a wedge. You can get all of these mods for around 700.00. You should be running 75+ all day long.

I would also ad an R&D grate. Many, many RXPX here running those mods @ 75+
