It will take a lot more than an RXP! Not to mention the amount of N0S.

It is going to take about one season to see 80mph come and go.

Richard, you seem to be very positive on the 250x. What do you think some of the things are that we will be able to do to get over the 70mph? I am new to the jet ski world but I do have a deposit a 250x.

The quickest way to get it over 70 would be to run it on fumes with a light weight rider in the superman position, heading downstream on a river with a fast current ! To get consistantly higher speeds, a way has to be found to free up the hull and get more of it out of the water. It rides tooooo wet. A nozzle wedge, sponsons, possible grate and rideplate tweeks all might help accomplish this. The boat is also under proped as it comes from the factory. It was set up more for acceleration than top speed. Stock USCG approved flame arrestors can also strangle an engine. These mods will only crack the ice. I'm sure there is a LOT more speed hidden in the engine and electronics just waiting to be discovered.

Thanks for the info, I sure will be glad someone gets there hands on this unit to see what can be done to tweek it. I am looking to do simple things that may work, like the nozzle wedge and what else to get it out of the water some. Roger

Simply removing items put in place by the manufacture iss going to make this thing over 70.

So you will need to purchase nothing to hit 70. Just remove restriction devises.

    Just write this down.

Skip says it will hit 70 with removing some simple items put in place by the manufacture.

You can quote me on that........

Skip, even if your not 100 percent correct, I just have this feeling you're very close to being right on target.
