    Do these numbers seem right?

Finally got my modded waterbox back and reinstalled. At the same time I added a solas 14/19R, 4 " intake, and metal SC washers. Have done all the other free mods, and previously already had a Rva grate installed.

    temps were :
    Air 46F
    water 44F..........yes it was cold!
    water conditions: slight chop
    Gas Tank was full.
    RPM's @ 8100........prior to mods RPMS's max at 7600.
Top speed measured via GPS was 70.3 mph. Prior to adding the SC washers, intake and solas, my best speed was roughingly 67 on average.
I know I should not expect any gains from the washers, however previously my rpms would fluctuate by 300-4000 when WOT. I assume it was slipping. Now it is rock steady at 8100 @ WOT
With the 4" intake, I can't believe how much more noticable the SC wine is. Before I only heard it at idle. Now I here it no matter what. Love iT!
Can't believe what a different machine this is. From take off to how fast it hits top speed.
Anyhow do these numbers seem right? I think I should have achieved a little more. Plan to add RE block offs, and pump wedge over the winter. oh ya on a sad note: I winterized him right after these test runs

    Thanks for posting your results.

If it means anything to ya, I was running a best of 71.3mph throughout the summer with my setup. I hit it so many times...its like a freaking invisible wall. My setup consists of the following:
RIVA Stage 1 (RIVA 3" intake, wedge, 14/19R, RIVA grate)
    RIVA pro OPAS blocks
rideplate holes filled along with intake grate holes

I am wondering if the block offs and wedge will provide a little more. From what I have read, they will.

I ran 71.4 in the heat with my 04.
All I have is 14/19r, riva grate and holes filled.
That was with 1/3 of a tank of gas.
I am going to try to get out this week for my cold run to see how I do.

Blockoffs won't gain you any speed. They'll just help you maintain your top speed more by eliminating porposing. Thats my experience.

if ur bouncin all over the place they will level u out. just by not porpoising you will gain speed and get more consistant speed readings.

Could my propt need a little tweaking? It seems with those mods I should be going faster then. I was porposing a little at top speed, so I am sure there was more I could have gained if I had not been.
My tank was right full, so it may be a little faster once below a half tank.

If you are at 8100 your prop is right on the money.

That good that my rpms are right on the money. So due to some of the other variables I mentioned, would my top speed seem normal?

I'd say a 3 mph gain is pretty damn good!
