    Need help with vipec......

    I know its the holidays but I was hoping someone can help solve my problem.After updating the firmware and loading a new map my fzs cuts out at anything over 4k or if i bring the rpms up and then kicks down to 2k and my throttle becomes unreponsive like its not connected.After I shut off motor engine runs fine again untile after 4k and ten does the same.Any help would be greatly appreciated the weather is perfect here in thailand......

    The only thing I can think of, Make sure you do the proper map sensor and (E) THROTTLE calibration... Good luck, Julio....

    sounds almost like an overheat sensor is trigering a rev limit

    Check your reverse switch.
    Having it on will set the rev limit to 4k.
    Turn ski off and back on again and it'll reset till you hit the limit again.

    I had the same problem after updating firmware (but I switched to Riva cams at the same time). Had to adjust duty cycles to higher ones in table "Base position: solenoid (%DC) / Stepper (step count from fully open)" in "Idle speed control menu" and that worked.

    I have 1.0 for columns from -30 to 20, 0.9 for 30 & 40 and 0.6 for everything else. But it may not work for everybody, you can play with numbers.

    Thanks Denis I adjusted my numbers to match yours and will test tomorrow.Funny that my other ski runs perfect and the numbers matched my other ski that would cut the throttle out after loading up.
