    Cylinder head and piston pics

Hey guys, I have just removed my head to replace my head gasket (which doesnt seem to be blown ) and thought i would upload a few pics to get you guys opinions.
The inlet valves have a fair amount of pitting (not sure if this is normal) and there is a bit of buildup on the piston tops.. Does this look okay to youse for a motor with 110 hours?

Why did you think your head gasket was blown on a stock engine with 110 hrs.

I was losing coolant. Last ride out i lost all the coolant in my bottle in 20 mins and got an overheat alarm, and there was coolant splashed around the hull. I had pressure tested the cooling system and could not detect a leak anywhere :/

I'm thinking your head gasket is blown cause your valves are green they are not supposed to be green.
the pitting is not normal and neither is that piston wash. looks like a 2 stroke piston, IMO seems rich to me the carbon deposits are being washed off by too much fuel.

I could be wrong but my head and piston did not look like that, I'm running 42's

I am not sure why it looks like this then. Up until 5 hours ago the motor was stock. At that time i put the mini rude and 48's on. AFR was at 12.5 at idle and 11.2 at WOT. So it may be a little rich, but i wouldnt have thought it would cause a problem.. Whats the best way to clean up the piston tops? and can i just clean them valves up and continue using them? really dont want to have to change anything else...

Pistons will be fine no need to clean them the valves however, I would worry about, why are they becoming pitted like that?!
you could have some pitting going on the stem also. I'm thinking since that looks like rust, I'm going to say its coming from the coolant being burnt inside the combustion chamber and boiling off on those valves.

Did you ever notice a sweet smell coming from your exhaust while riding?
