    Best wax/sealant for PWC

Now that we are in the winter season, upper NA, wondering what different folks are using for wax/sealant on their PWC? Also curious to find out what lasts the longest and does the best against water spots?

I just use a turtle ice wax and a spray quick wax after works perfectly for me. Then after every ride I just spray it with quick wax.

I use this after each ride. It is $15. Lasts me an entire season.

I've been using Meguiar's Flaship Marine wax & found it holds up real well & is much easier to buff out than their automotive products like Gold Class. I use their spray quick wax in between & get lots of hours of riding before needing another full wax job.

FYI, a little vinegar in your wash water will do wonders for water spots.

You could probable get 50 different responses and all would yield decent results.

I buff my ski with a porter cable. Swirl remover, then sealer then maybe two coats of wax, and all that still only lasts about 4-5 rides in fresh water and then water spots start to come back. The marine environment is a damn harsh one, and I don't even ride in salt.

One last question....do you guys wax your hulls or just clean them? I think there is some debate whether waxing them makes the PWC faster or not.

Waxing is good to keep scum and waterline marks off your hull. If you are the type to let your boat sit in the water for a long time. I don't take the time to wax my hull, because when it is on a trailer you can't get to everything. I don't think wax stays on that well at 70 mph.
