    fzr

    hi can anyone help i have a 2008 gp1300r and as much as i enjoy the ski i have been interested in looking to buy the new yamaha fzr has anyone else had a gp1300r and then purchased an fzr. or riden a gp1300r and fzr trying to compare is it better or was it a let down ??? does any one know if the fuel consumption is a lot better??? as mine is shall i say thrsity. just looking at the pros and cons between the ski"s really as the dealer ships just wanna sell and will say anything to sell . thanks.

    FZR is a great ski! Is alot better on fuel then a GPR , but with WOT is does use abit of fuel.

    i know someone who went from a moded gpr1200 to an fzr
    and he was a bit hesitant at first but after making the switch he was somewhat happy
    he had a ride on a gpr1300 not long ago and was shocked at how bad it handled the rough water

    i went from a 1300r to an sho. could not get over how powerul and economical it was in stock form. miles and miles apart. you will not look back.

    I have both still. And like them both. The FZS I have is an awesome ride. I love it.

    go the fzs it gives you more options as its a three seater, its a smarter purchase.

    You are going to love the FZ, just start saving money for the mods.
