    Convert RXt to RXT X steering

    What is the complete list of parts required to convert RXT 215 07 steering to RXT X any pics of this conversion?

    you dont want to buy it all from the dealer you willl spend a fortune...find one in the classifieds..they come up from time to time..for about 600 for the set up..or go with a umi set up

    this is on a rxp but should be the same...you have to do a little cutting to make it fit...







    i lowered mine about 1.5 inches buy cutting the shaft and rewelding it ..nice and clean..

    once you get all your parts needed to complete your steering set-up... you may want to consider buying one of our steering plate adaptors. our plate will show you exactly where to cut the fiberglass so that the x steering will fit into the rxt hull. also our steering plate adaptor will cover the hole that is exposed on the left side after the x steering plate is mounted. here is a link to check it out: http://www.speedfreeksracing.com/sfr/products/list

    Yes it looks identical to factory.
    I have x steering on my Rxt.
    I posted pics in my thread "tested new mods with results"

    Found the pics (18 looks good, did you use the speedfreaks bracket?

    do you have new pics of the completed install?

    are there any other throttles and switch housings that can be used (no VTS) Black colour.

    i made a little plate to cover the hole on the left side and mounted my bilge switch there
    worked out well
