Installing intake manifold??
I was just wondering how do you install the intake manifold? Do you leave the 2 bottom black cushion bolts intact on the ski, or do you install the top bolts first then install the 2 bottom bolts last??
Do you leave the 2 bottom bolts intact in the ski, then use force to line up the top bolts? I keep hitting the dang oil stick while trying to get it lined up.

You leave the 2 rubber cushions screwed into the block..there are 2 notches on the manny that slide into them cushions/gromets...once the manny slides into them then you should be able to slide the dipstick into the groves in the manny and then the 7 bolts...

Leave the bottom grommets installed slip the intake over the grommets and rotate the intake and line up the locating pins. Make sure the dip-stick is in the top grove and not to lower grove.

hm I tried leaving the bottom bolts intact, but I still can't get the dip stick to fall into the grove on the manifold!! I shall re-attempt it again later. Thanks for the quick replies!

Pulll the dipstick out SLIGHTLY once the mani gets real close and slide it into the grooves then push the mani the rest of the way on and it will seat the dipstick in the process

Man I went through the same thing your going through a while back. If you slip the dipstick into the appropriate slots on the manifold, the manifold will slip in without having to force anything.
