For stock class you will have to read the rules for that class and see what is allowed.

see the attached PDF to this post.... thats pretty much what you can get away with and be legal in stock class with out going into the motor and doing valve springs and retainers to spin highger rpm's

the prop that was selected was just for cost purposes. the actual pitch may depend on the tune you put in the boat

If you are racing IJSBA stock rules you cannot use the riva rear air, it doesn't have a rated flame arrestor.

Get a Les Cooke re map, the only thing that would be better is a autronics with les's map in it which would be very expensive and to be honest not much better at all.

You will need a set of his retainers to go with the ECU so that you can rev it hard without dropping a valve.

No need to change to UMI steering the X steering setup is almost identical, just get a lowering block and get the stem cut and welded so the steering sits as low as posssible.

You could change the bars, don't have to. I would change the grips tho, the stock ones arnt that good.

You can make the stock prop work very well at stock class. James Bushell won pro stock this year with a stock prop.

Yes the worx grate is the best.

Lower your stock sponsons, best handling mod you can do to a PX.

If you want to run the riva ride plate that ultra posted up your going to need open loop as well. You need to check which rules you are using, there is zero point building a fast boat that gets DQed coz you have fitted something that you are not allowed in stock.

Technically doesn't that filter in the X intake manifold act as a flame arrestor?
