straight piped exhaust??? who has done it??? REAL OPINIONS....
So I've read tons of people saying it's to load, and don't do it, ect.... But my question is if i decided to do it how would i go about it?.... could i just pull the riva box out and attach a peice of pipe from the j pipe to the rude tip???... does it need to be water jacketed or will it be ok with out the water jacketing???im not looking for any performance gains, just simply looking to please my need for something that sounds BITCHEN !!! thanks for any answers prior!

If you do it... I promise that you won't run it very long that way! Nor will you have anyone ride with you.... unless there deaf already

It's extremely extremely extremely loud with an incredible drone from 1500 to 8300. There is a local guy that rides here on the same waters as I do. I used to ride with him. No longer. I can be in front of him and here the mess at 65 MPH. I wouldn't do it if I were you. If you are looking to get noticed, it is the mod for you. However, as previously said, you will more than likely end up riding alone. I'm all for doing new things, but the straight pipe mod is a little over-the-top IMO. If you want to know how loud and obnoxious it is, pull the waterbox from the header and listen. It's different no doubt, but way too loud, IMO!!!

Besides being really loud you will hit the limiter almost instantly. But I did it when I first got my `05 RXP. When I nailed it coming out of the boat launch everyones heads turned. Its pretty cool, just don`t throw you current water box away.

Did on our 06 RXT. Way too loud!!! Everyone on the lake was complaining. Had to run a turndown out the back so only @ speed the tip came out of the water.

find a TRD or take your current WB, gut it, shorten it, and go from there.

I'm keen to give this a go for lols. My ski already stands out like dogs nuts anyway.
Will there be any overheating problems?

I have heard them all and prefer my 3in TDR over all of them.
