Question 1999 gsx or gp 800

Hey guys just wondering if you guys had a choice between a 1999 seadoo gsx-rfi or a 98 yamaha gp 800 which would it be? Now I know this is a sea doo forum but honest answers would be great lol

    Thanks!!

not to hate on a Doo, but yes stay away from the DI's and RFI's it costs more than the ski is worth to fix the engine.

I have 3 di's and zero problems. I also have the CanDoo system so if a problem does occur I can pinpoint it in seconds

A lot of problems with fuel injection units and general electric problems.
I have convert about 3 di's to carburator to make them work!!!(burnt mpem too high cost).
Try to find a carburated rx or xp,otherwise go to yamaha option!!

it all depends on what feels right to you. ride them before you buy them. if your going to get a 96+ XP get a 99 or newer model or a 96 XP. the 97-98's were under powered and the pre 96 XP's with the exception to the 95XP800 are underpowered as well. the 96XP with the 787 is the best powered or the 99+XP would be the way to go if your going Doo.
