    Wrong Engine in Speedster SC

I went to purchase a 2007 Speedster 150 with the Supercharged engine and the engine in the boat does not have a supercharger on it. IT is listed in the orginal bill of sale from North Jax Motorsports in Jacksonville florida as a Supercharged. IT has the 215 HP decals on it. Even has the Supercharged in yellow on the engine cover but it does not have a supercharger. The boat only has 6 hours and looks truly brand new.The owners do not know anything about engines. This boat has not had its engine replaced. IT just has the wrong one in it and no one has caught it til now.
My question is has this happened before from SeaDoo. Does anyone know of anyting like this happending before.

wow! NA engine, TB up front...
I`m not entirely sure, but maybe look at the engine ID plate/number and see if it is what is on the original paperwork for proof to the purchasing agent... looks to me like someone owes you a SC engine...
This would be a first for me to hear about...
Hope that something can be done about that even tho it`s an 07... good luck...

Well it will be interesting to see what the dealer and Sea Doo has to say, They cant just drop a new engine in the boat. The SC engine uses a 6 1/4 diameter jet pump. The none Supercharged uses a 6 1/8 Jet pump. So it is a lot more than just an engine.

    Jet pump

Other than taking a set of calipers and measureing, is there an easier way to see if this boat has the 6 1/4 pump or the 6 1/8 pump.

Dont even bother with that. Bottom line is talk reasonably to the dealer and see if there is anything they can do for you.

Ditto on that... start making a few phone calls and document everything... maybe the graphics package is incorrect and the rest of the boat is right... ecu, electrics, etc I believe are different... so this would mean a lot of stuff who need to be swapped out!?
