need some opinions on which direction to go with my car

Alright so on January 31 i took my car for its first drive with my new motor middle of the day and hit a freaking deer. damage wasn't to bad bu cracked the fenders bent the hood and little bit of other damage. pretty good for hitting a dear at 45mph.

So any way i need to fix that damage and want to have the car totally repainted as the paint job is 16 years old and has some wear and tear that bothers me. i can only afford one major mod though and im not sure if i want a new ground effects kit or a new ss hood. both cost around 500 dollars. its one or the other which would you get.

i dont know how im gona paint the car but im going to go green with some kind of black stripes.

this was what the car looked like before and the green im going to go with a

go with the hood you could make it functional. the ground effects dont add ponies plus easier to tear off if its a daily driver. as for paint color...flat black or gun metal gray JMO

Hood. Ground effects will add to the price to paint also.

Absolutely go with the hood. The 5 spoke rims will also help alot.

yah im going to pick up a set of 5 spoke rims i just haven't found a set i like yet. i dont like the corvette rims that every one else uses. i want black rims with a polish lip.

i probably wont lower the car. just gets to be to much of a hassle as its not as simple as swapping spring. you need an adjustable panhard bar and trq arm. then alot of people have problems with the exhaust hitting the ground,

hood it will be then. thanks for the input guys

I'm not sure how much damage was done to the hood, but if it needs to be replaced, replace it with the one you want (ss), although the price may be slightly different than OEM hood. This could leave you with some extra money to get the ground effects that you want.
