Remove the cat con, which then requires the chip to trick the sensor.
    Get an R&D intake grate.
    Worx or beach house sponsons.
Rebuild your carbs to OSide's jetting specs and add prok filters.
    Do the jetworks stinger mod.
    Solas 12/18
Get a Jims modded ride plate
    Waveeater clips and couplers

All of the above has been covered in great detail here, just run down the list searching each. I have the above on my 1999 XLL and it runs great.

How fast do you want to go? If you want to keep single pipe I have new dplates and sensors or if you want to go big I have 2 sets of speedwerx tripple pipes-complete. I have 2 speedwerx billet girdled heads-one with pump gas domes-one with race gas domes-2 protech remapped cdi's with maps for tripples-m16 reed cage assemblies. Let me know what kind of power your looking for and we can come up with a plan.

Tommy, he said this was a 99 XL1200 Limited. If this is true then its a 66V powervalve motor! I had a 2000 XL 1200 Limited and they were identical to the 99's with only minimal changes.
