    vxr to replace gp800r

hi guys i haven't been on here to much lately.....i have sold the the gp1200r and bought a fzs ,and i sold the motor out out the gpr super stock(its getting a sho as well)......but the misses still has a completely rebuild gp800r,im thinking of either doing a conversion putting a fx140/160 engine or sell it and buy a vxr.........sell likes the gpr as it is and buy a vxr......i like the 4 stroke as the reliability......with a 2 stroke even a woman riding what a 150 hours max a 4 stroke should do over 500 hours, having 2 1800's i can get a 20L of oil and same filters,no trim on the vxr......well she doesn't know how to use it any way.....the vxr just seems to be a simple boat.....my fzs drinks more than me,whats the vxr like on fuel......shorely its better than a gpr.......any vxr owners out there to comments would be get....

I have a 2013 VXR. Various riding from 30mph to wide open but mainly average 40-50. I think it's good on fuel averaging 5-7 gals/hour. My wife rides a 2012 VX Deluxe with a 1100 engine and we mostly ride together. I only use about 10% more fuel than her.

My old vxr 2011 used a lot less fuel than my mates gp1300 I sold mine with over 160 hrs on it

But my new 2015 seems to use even less than my old one

The N/A 1.8l engines are great on gas, even in boats. Hard to believe, but a SC single engine 192 burns more at WOT than a twin 242...
