    2008 RXP-X super charger question???

I have a 2008 rxp-x with about 45 hours on it. I checked the blower slip at 40hrs and it was within spec. My question is should I pull the charger and upgrade the clutch washers to the most recent type?? Should I just keep what I have?? Need you guys opinions. Riding season does not start for me for at least 4 months so I want to do this over the winter if it needs to be done!

Theoretically No you shouldn't have to do anything for at least another 50 hours or so...BUT the OEM gold metal washers have been known to break also...IF this were me, i would upgrade to the Rivas or the newer OEM style just to be on the safe side since you have some down time....

You are probably fine with stock charger but the gold ones definitely can come apart bro!

Are the latest OEM washers any different?
I thought since 08 they were the same gold washers.

I have seen some gold washers break up and it seems like cheap insurance to just go ahead and replace them. What ones should I buy new OEM or rivas?? Are they the same? Will I need to buy the spring washers and the needle bearings to do the whole job?
