SHO Water Cooling Line Inside Diameter

I want to put a tow tap in the cooling inlet line just before the 4 way fitting.

Can anyone tell me the inside diameter of the main inlet line coming from the pump so I can hunt down the right size brass tap??

Saves me cutting it to measure and then go and buy.

    Cheers

But wouldn't you have to cut it anyway to put on the brass fitting ?????

All of my water lines have been replaced with 225 psi hose. And I use 1/2" inside diameter. The stock water lines are not up to the task. They are thin and soft.
