How many hours to a tank of gas?

Just curious as to how many hours to a tank of gas you guys are getting. Right now I estimate about 3-3.5 but I am in breakin still so...... I know it;s gonna vary by the type of riding you do so what are you guys getting and how do you ride?

I usually get anywhere from 2.5 to 3.5 hours out of a tank depending on how i ride.

The rxp is literaly capable of burning the whole tank in about an hour.

I usually get any where from 2.5 to 4.5 per tank.

On a side note, I'm always amazed that people complain about the fuel consumption rate on the rxp. Talk to anyone with a modded 2 stroke that can run with the rxp all day, and ask them how much fuel they burn. Yep, you guessed it, it's as much or more than the rxp, with at least the same octane requirements.

I just ran yesterday at WOT (one of those days at work and just needed to get out and ride). I rode about 1.5hrs maintaining 7800RPM or more 90% of the time and came back with 2 bars of gas left. If I am just out crusing and enjpying the scenery, I normally can ride around 4 to 4.5 hours.

This is something you won't believe. The other day my friend and i went for a long ride. He has a bone stock 04 GTX SC. We rode side by side the complete duration of the ride with the exception of the few WOT bursts we did and I left him in the dust

Well, when we got back to the landing he had 2 bars LESS fuel than I did

Yes, we both had full tanks to start off with

If you look at the service manual the gtx sc actually gets worse fuel ecomomy then the rxp. I would think they would be just about even.

yea it's crazy... every single trip i've taken with a GTX SC, when we get to the gas dock they always take a few extra more gallons than my RXT...

what gets better fuel economy at 60 mph... at STOCK rxp, or a stage 3 rxp.... my guess would be the stage 3 rxp bc you are not squeezing the throttle as much to achieve the same speed thus burning less gas.

i guess same principle for an RXT vs GTX SC.... ride at 55mph or so, the GTX SC is squeezin that throttle a bit further than the RXT.
