Crank test for wear
Does anyone have a test that can be done to prove excessive wear on a GP1390 crank with out pulling the motor apart?

The only test I can think of is would be to set #3 to TDC then measure from the spark plug hole down to the top of #2 piston and top of #1 piston. The measurement should be equal or pretty close to equal. if it way off the crank has come out of phase. If you push the motor forward so you can disengage the Intermediate shaft you can check for end play.
